• Applied Statistics
Statistics is a mathematical science pertaining to the collection, analysis, interpretation or explanation, and presentation of data. It is applicable to a wide variety of academic disciplines, from the natural and social sciences to the humanities, and to government and business. Statistical methods can be used to summarize or describe a collection of data; this is called descriptive statistics. The course will cover most aspects of applied statistics, with emphasis on inferential statistics in the business world.
• Front Office Operation
The aim is that students gain a practical and technical understanding of the skill base required to work in an Investment Bank. The course will provide students with some of the necessary knowledge base required prior to undertaking the professional stock exchange exams.
• Portfolio Management
This course is an introduction to sound management theory. Computer enhanced models used to provide instruction in capital asset portfolio management and technique. Diversification theories, concepts, and applications in asset selection, analysis, and management are covered. Point and figure and other charting techniques are maintained and analyzed. Risk management concepts are introduced and extensively employed.

• Corporate Finance
The goal of this course is to extend student’s basic knowledge of corporate finance. The student will become more familiar with the main business environment issues that affect the Investment and Financing decisions of the firm. We will emphasize the impact of these decisions on the value of the firm.This is a course in advanced corporate finance dealing with corporate valuation methods. It also Covers capital budgeting decisions, optimal corporate structure, dividend policy and option valuation..
• Financial Reporting & International Accounting Standards
Examination of major aspects of corporate financial reporting by management under generally accepted accounting principles, including coverage of disclosures required for traded securities, tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, auditing of business financial reports, and impacts of financial reporting on managerial behavior, financial analysis and auditing.
• Mergers & Acquisition
This course introduces the student to the merger and acquisition process. The first part of the course describes the overall process, types of mergers, the legal process, important federal regulations, and due diligence. The purpose of the course is to provide the user with a solid understanding of how the merger and acquisition process works. The second part of the course describes valuation concepts, financial analysis, the valuation process, post merger integration, and anti-takeover defenses.

This course dealing with the role of law in international affairs will provide an introduction to international law for students in business programs. Students will be introduced to the role of states as the traditional sources of international legal norms and obligations; the application of international law by international and national decision-makers; and the status and increasing significance of non-state actors such as intergovernmental

This course examines the theory of international trade. Alternative approaches for explaining the pattern and terms of trade. An examination of the gains from trade and commercial policy. Included are issues of protectionism, economic integration and strategic trade policy.

Study of the fundamental concepts and skills required for the effective application of the three most frequently used software programs: word processing, electronic spreadsheets, and database management. International Business Environment
• Intercultural Management
The course examines case studies and readings that focus on uses of culture, intercultural competence, cultural identity and cultural diversity as strategic, organizational, and promotional tools. At the same time, the course examines the theory and practice of intercultural management and the strategic management of cultures as historically specific cultural phenomena in their own right, and considers the ethical issues highlighted by an intercultural perspective on business activities.
• International Treasury Management
This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of how to manage treasury affairs with a detailed look at the various financial markets and instruments that can be traded. The course explores techniques in the modern corporate and banking treasury management including the complexity of cash management and setting up a risk management framework. Students will explore in-depth debt raising strategies including loan finance and debt securities as well as financing methods such as equity and debt/equity mix. Finally alternative ways of financing including securitisation, leasing and project finance will be explained.

This course is organized around the following topics: the nature of small business and entrepreneurship; sources of information about entrepreneurship and small business; site selection; methods of predicting the success of a small business; ways of financing a business; legal needs of different types of business organizations; business plans; procedures entailed in purchasing supplies, inventory items, raw materials, and services; advertisement; public relations and salesmanship; bookkeeping; accounting; personnel management and self-improvement; policy and problem-solving needs of small businesses; procedures in conducting a business plan review.
• Teams and leadership
The purpose of this course is to provide students with the leadership tools to effectively manage and encourage sections and teams, to develop and provide strategic direction, and to communicate and motivate others to achieve both inter-sectional and team goals.
• Cash Management
This course provides an overview of the position and duties of the modern cash manager in an international company. In addition, it deals with the most important instruments used in contemporary cash management. It covers a cash manager's regular duties, such as the daily management of account balances and the conclusion of transactions in the financial markets. Examples are presented of several types of cash flow forecasts and an overview is provided of all relevant financial products. Furthermore, extensive attention is devoted to the establishment of a proper cash management infrastructure for the company.

It analyzes relationships among such variables as national income, employment, inflation and the quantity of money. It also examines the roles of government expenditure, taxation and monetary policy; international finance; economic development.

The course explains the management of human resources across various cultural settings in international business today. Students acquire a greater sensitivity to cultural needs and a flexibility in managing employees. Strategic planning is covered with a perspective on people management of people.
• Principles of management
This course presents a comprehensive survey of the basic principles of management applicable to all forms of business. Emphasis is placed upon case studies illustrating current, every day problems to management in an international business context.
